A.S.D. Fairplay “Massimo Bertoni” social commitment

The Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica (Amateur Sports Association) FairPlay “Massimo Bertoni” was born in 2008 from the meeting of several sports professionals: they created a "sports school" for children and adults based on multidisciplinarity. Being aware of how sports can help in the educational and interpersonal fields, while strengthening one's character (especially in children), since 2009 FairPlay has been using sports as therapeutic activity for people with disabilities and disadvantaged groups. Instructors of ski and snowboard, sailing and windsurfing, swimming and motorcycling, together with physical education graduates, all specialized in teaching children and people with disabilities, work all year long in the mountains (Cortina d'Ampezzo) and at the seaside during the summer (Grado and Bay of Sistiana).

During the three-year period 2013-2015, A.S.D. FairPlay “Massimo Bertoni” took park in Trieste Municipality Zone Plans. In 2013, President Druso Nordio held a “Course for Sports Instructors on sailing techniques for Visually Impaired People” at I.A.L. He taught the technical sailing part, together with a A.N.I.O.M.A.P. Instructor (National Association of Instructors of Orientation, Mobility and Personal Autonomy). Since 2014, FairPlay has been listed on the Regional Register of Social Promotion Associations, with reference number 419.
